 | Ms Lois RowanRN, CDE
Ms Lois Rowan is a Credentialed Diabetes Educator who has over 30 years’ experience as a Divisional 1 Registered Nurse and midwife. She has worked in many areas during her career; including operating theatres, recovery, day surgery, midwifery, special care nursery and Victorian Plastic Surgery Unit. She currently works full time as a Diabetes Nurse Educator, being proficient in all areas, including gestational diabetes, insulin pumps and continuous glucose monitoring.
She has successfully completed her training as a Nurse practitioner and is on the Australian Diabetes Educators Association credentialing committee. She lectures in the area of diabetes to community groups, AUSMED and general practitioner clinics.
